Lighting Mode

The lighting mode is responsible for how the world lighting conditions and any additive lights will effect the material.

Multiple lighting modes are available:

None

Disables lighting.

The material will act as if it is always emissive and will not be influenced by additional lights or world lighting conditions.

Lighting None

Toon

Simple toon lighting.

No options for reflections or metallic. Additional lights will effect the material. The world will effect the material with indirect lighting from light probes.

Provides options for ambient occlusion.

Lighting Toon

Realistic

Unity PBS lighting.

Provides full PBS lighting including indirect specular/diffuse and direct specular/diffuse.

Povides options for glossiness, metallic and specularity.

Provides options for ambient occlusion.

Lighting Realistic
