Specular Workflow

When the specular workflow is enabled, it replaces the metallic mask map with a specular color map.

A specular color map usually provides more interesting reflections.

The specular workflow is only available in the realistic lighting mode.


General Settings

Specular Map

A color map that determines the color of specular reflections.

  • Uses UV0.
  • Only the RGB components are used. Alpha is ignored.
  • Defaults to white (full metallic) when not set.

Specular Tint

Determines the tint of the specular map.

  • When the specular map is not set, this controls the specular color.
  • This color will multiply the specular map color. So this will act as a tint.
  • The alpha channel is not used.
