Rim-Light

Rim light creates a shine around the edges of the material.

Rim lights are emissive.

General Settings​

Start-End​

The start & end parameters let you adjust the width of the rim light and the offset of it.

  • The left value is the start and the right value is the end.
  • Distance between the start and end controls the width of the rim light.
  • How offset start is from zero will determine when the rimlight fade will start.
  • How offset end is from 1 will determine where the rimlight fade will end.

Invert​

You can invert where the rim light starts by enabling this invert option.

Color​

This determines the color of the rim light.

Alpha determines the opacity of the rim-light. So a alpha of zero will remove the rim light while a max alpha will make the rim light fully visible.
